the sculpture was made of galvanized wire
the idea behind the hare is that it was regarded as an animal with special powers,able to transform from animal to human form.
this is probably the reason why the artist made the hare have humanly figures and parts.

the sculpture is very large in size and consistes of concrete blocks to give a square ratio impression giving the viewer an impression of ascending and descending ratios
Various Figurative Sculptures by josephson is another sculpture i like
the sculptures are made of bronze but give the impression of clay
they are larger than life in size
the impression gives a strong vigorous quality which is what the artist was trying to show.
